Who wants to drink iced coffee, especially all through the warm months? With Keurig, brewing coffee is the easiest thing in the world. If you’re a busy bee, you can even make a nice big batch of iced coffee that could last for a week!
Making Iced Coffee With Keurig
Follow these steps to make one serving of a perfect Keurig iced coffee. You can save cash on expensive cold brews and enjoy a delicious caffeine kick right at your own home.
First, brew a dark roasted k-cup at the smallest cup setting available on your Keurig machine (4-ounce or the 6 oz cup size). Why dark? We found that it works best with Keurig, but, you can certainly use any other roast k-cups. However, if you like a dark and robust drink, try the dark roasted k-cups for best results.
Second, put 4 large ice cubes in a tall glass and pour the hot coffee slowly over the ice cubes. Yes, you’ve read it right. You don’t have to wait for the coffee to cool down first. You just have to pour the coffee slowly over ice cubes and not just pour it all at once.
Third, you can add in 4 oz of cold milk or some vanilla creamer. If you like your coffee sweet you can add around 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar or caramel syrup. Vegetarians can substitute milk with coconut or almond milk. That’s it and you’ve got yourself a delicious drink you’ll love!
Alternatively, you can just buy Keurig K-Elite which has a button for iced coffee. Just push the button and your hot coffee will turn into a small, concentrated amount of a smooth iced coffee. You can add a couple of tablespoons of creamer or sugar for an extra sweet taste. That’s how easy it is to enjoy a nice coffee that you can make right at your own home or office, with Keurig.
